Alicia

Teaching Style

Alicia emphasizes the fundamental elements of Argentine Tango dancing: the music; the walk; the embrace; the connection between lead and follow and the navigation on the dance floor.

She stresses musicality, posture, coordination, balance, rhythm, and the distinctive improvisational aspect of the dance. This provides the students with the basic skills needed to dance tango anywhere the world. Alicia does not merely teach steps; rather, she uses steps to teach you how to dance.
